Jennifer leads the Risk Assessment and Soil Health teams at Good Lands. She helps staff with the more complicated sites, analyzes data, and gives recommendations for why the vegetation is not growing well or next steps to remediate the soil.
Jennifer has been with Good Lands Environmental for the past 13 years.
Jennifer grew up in Goodlands, MB, spent 18 years living in big cities (Chicago and Vancouver), then returned to Regina where she currently lives.
“The company was founded by my parents, and I worked part time for them since high school. I like the challenge of working with soil and vegetation and I like that our goal is to minimize the amount of soil which gets landfilled but still bring unproductive land back into productivity. When my parents want to retire, I came back to Regina to be one of the working owners of Good Lands Environmental because I believed in the good work the company was doing.”

“I didn’t choose this career, it chose me! My husband and I moved home after we finished university, and I was looking for a job in the area. Jim & Vi Nielsen had advertised in the local paper, and I applied, having no idea what to expect. I loved it from day 1 and the rest, as they say, is history!”
